One of the Nissan dealerships around me finally got a 370Z and I went and checked it out. Let me just say, first off, it looks 1000x better than the 350Z. It looks so much more aggressive, makes the 350Z bland in comparison. The salesman first let me sit in the drivers seat and then start it with the push button start. I then had him rev it so I could hear the exhaust note to see if it sounds as good as the 350Z, which it doesn't, but still sounds pretty good. Then I asked him if they are letting people take test drives in it, and he said that he would let me take it for one. Woot. I only got to take it for a short stint on the interstate, and it was an auto, so I didn't get to delve too much into it. Although, the paddle shifters are pretty nice. When down-shifting, they rev-match and downshift quickly, unlike most other paddle shift cars I have driven. It also has a very nice pull in 3rd gear at 55mph, nice and linear torque curve. But anyways, here are a few pics I took.

Interior is 100x better than the 350Z

Although, I can't stand this thing, but it does do some pretty neat things, but still looks retarded.

No more brace! But still looks like there isn't much room.

The other dealer close to me is going to get a 6 speed with the Sport package in Monterey Blue soon, so I will go take that for a test drive when they get it.

Did they mention an asking price for the car?

I was talking to the salesman and asked him if I could get it under MSRP and he told me yes. I didn't talk about any actual prices since it will be a few months until I buy one.

It sucks, Im too young to go test drive any cars, and my parents are too old to want to, and my brother in law who likes to test drive cars is 2000 miles away..

But looks like it was a fun testdrive..

Jared is 21, so I guess I should be able to test drive one of these things too! Every time I go home, I stop by Brenner Nissan in Mechanicsburg,PA to see if they have any 370Zs yet.

I got my first taste of the Z34 yesterday. I drove an auto enthusiest model with the paddle shifters and it was an amazing ride. The manager went with me on the test drive and he himself was an avid Z enthusiest and owned a Z33 and had owned a Z32 in the past. Well we got a good stretch of straight newly paved road out near where the dealership is located, which is on the outskirts of town and he let me really rip on it. I reached the 150 mph mark in this car and it felt extremely stable and was an extremely enjoyable ride. If I was in the market this would be the car I would be getting, unfortunately im in the market for a Z33 but highly recommend this car to anyone that wants one.
