car & Driver Road Test

The February 2009 issue has an actual road test of the 370Z. Pretty good performance numbers.
I find it interesting that the tested car (provided by Nissan I'm sure) was equipped with the optional oil and differential coolers at an estimated cost of $500 each. Re. my earlier post about the oil overheating, it would seem Nissan is putting the optional coolers on these cars to prevent the overheating and the subsequent negative press.
Anyhow, I'm still anxious to see one in person.

After reading the article in Car and Driver and reading the road test Road and Track did (Road and Track also had a road test with the 370Z in their February issue), it seemed Road and Track liked the 370Z much better than Car and Driver did. C&D just kind of seemed like they thought it was cool, but nothing special.

Thanks, Lt Dan. Best article yet that I have read. I might be getting closer to ordering. Haven't seen on e in the flesh yet. Michigan dealers hold up ordering and test drives until weather breaks.
