Kind of a moot point, isn't it? They hit the showrooms in January. They aren't going to be a limited production car. I'd be concerned about having one of the first cars after the problems first few months of the Z33 incurred.

Moot point? Not really. A lot of people put in orders to get exactly what they want.

If they don't have the car you want on the lot, all they do is search other dealership inventories and do a dealer swap.

I would also wait a while to get one. But I dont have the money, so I wont get one at all. But they are growing on me.

I'm 95% certain I'll get a Roadster 1 year from now but there is a 5% chance I may hold off based on bugs/defects, etc. ala the 2003 350Z.
