According to specs released by the LA Auto Show the new 370Z will feature a 332 bhp version of the VQ37. A 2 hp bump over the current G37 model.

I'm hoping to see a little more of an increase than that. I've read rumors of 10 more hp.

Yeah, I was hoping for at least 350hp out of the Z34. Do you think Nissan will let Z1 dyno the 370Z when it gets to Z1 on December 6th. :D

It does seem convenient that the 370Z will be at Z1 Motorsports who just so happens to have a dyno. Maybe they will let us lay down a couple runs... If anyone has a G37 coupe they would like to dyno against the 370Z pm or email me and we might set up some comparison runs.

At the last KCZclub dyno day, we had a stock G37 dyno and he made 278whp. I can't remember how much torque though.

Exactly, why will Nissan not put turbo's back on a Z or even a supercharger for that matter...

It's looking like 332-338 from all indications. Even the NFS: Underground specs have it at 338 I believe, and I doubt that a video game would under rate HP, lol.

Hopefully closer to 338.

6 hp wont really change much in terms of speed I don't think. Still an upgrade from 306

I have to agree with Z Freak. I'll be disappointed if it's not near the 350 mark.

I'm more interested in seeing wheel dyno numbers whenever someone gets a chance to run one. May not be the case this time but manufacturers have been known to understate HP numbers from time to time.
From reviews I've read and people I've spoken with the power curve is nice and smooth and seems to pull from anywhere in the band. Not too bad.

+ 10 although Chris, would you honestly mod a brand new 370 that way!?
