Personally, I don't think it will sell very well. The Japanese may like these kind of cars, but American's don't. I know I would never own one because I don't like square cars.

I've been reading good reviews on the Cube.
Re. American's tastes, that's too tough to call. If I recall, when Scion launched here the predicted the Xb (the breadbox on wheels) would be the slowest seller. Again, as I recall, it's the #1 seller. (All this is from memory with no facts to back it up.) Even my 60 year old bro-in-law bought one.
Likewise, when Honda introduced the Element, it was marketed at the Generation X-or younger-group. Instead it was "mature" folks buying it...people over 40.
I'm sure Nissan will sell plenty of Cubes just because they're different.

Kind of strange little car. They had a couple RHD's at the Nissan 360 show in San Francisco 4 years ago when I was there. Neat little things but strange.
